Hey you! Welcome to my SU blog. I'm mainly interested in philosophy and subjects that balance on the border between science and spirituality. I'm always seeking for the truth, making new discoveries along the way. Not that I'm living under the impression that I will ever find it, but hey, it keeps me busy... ;-) So if you happen to know the truth, or if you're in to a debate, drop me a line! Or just peruse my stumbles and have fun! ^^ Greetings from The Netherlands!

Very good documentary about quantum mecahnics, how the ideas about atoms and subatomic particles developed during the last 100 years and most importantly, about the various interprerations. The maths are there, but no one knows, not even vaguely, what it means.

This is one of the better open source FPS games available. I'm very curious about the plans of building an RPG game with this engine...

From the article: "Proprietary software keeps users divided and helpless. Its functioning is secret, so it is incompatible with the spirit of learning. Teaching children to use a proprietary (non-free) system such as Windows does not make the world a better place, because it puts them under the power of the system's developer -- perhaps permanently. You might as well introduce the children to an addictive drug. If the XO turns out to be a platform for spreading the use of proprietary software, its overall effect on the world will be negative."

OMG! Flashback! I really want to play this game again. It was cool back in 1999 and it is still cool today. It is all genres mixed up in to one great experience: adventure, fighting, 3D shooter, RPG. I don't think I ever have played a game which brought me the same experience. Although Outcast comes pretty close too... Oh dear, oh dear, here I go again....
